Brian Davis was appointed as CEO of C2X in July 2023.
Prior to joining the company, Brian enjoyed a 32-year international career at Shell including assignments as SVP of Global Energy Solutions, Head of Corporate Strategy for the Shell Group and SVP of Shell Chemicals. After leaving Shell he served as EVP and Chief Commercial Officer for Marathon Petroleum Corporation based in San Antonio, Texas. More recently, he was a senior advisor to multiple companies around the world focused on scaling up solutions to accelerate the energy transition.
Brian earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney, Australia. He has lived and worked in Australia, the UK, the USA, Turkey, The Netherlands and Barbados.
Alastair Maxwell was appointed as CFO of C2X in July 2023.
Prior to joining C2X, Alastair was CFO of GasLog Ltd, an LNG shipping company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and CFO of Signifier Medical Technologies Limited, a private medical device company. Previously, Alastair spent 29 years in Investment Banking with Kleinwort Benson, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, predominantly focussed on the broader Energy sector. Alastair also serves as a non-Executive Director of Noble Corporation.
Gordon Cowe was appointed Chief Project Development Officer in January 2023.
Prior to joining C2X Gordon enjoyed assignments with engineering and project management companies across oil and gas, mineral processing and renewable energy sector leading mega projects in Australia, the Middle East and Europe. More recently Gordon was engaged as Head of Projects for Fortescue Future Industries guiding development of green Ammonia projects on a global platform.
Gordon earned an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering at Strathclyde University, Scotland and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Directors.
Diego Perdones was appointed Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Managing Director for Spain of C2X in October 2023.
Prior to joining the company, Diego had more than 20 years management experience in APM Maersk. Among others, he has been Commercial Director for Hong Kong and South China, Managing Director for Central Mediterranean, Managing Director for France, Iberia and Maghreb and Regional Managing Director for Latin America. Diego has been involved in the development of C2X in Spain since inception.
Diego has a Bachelor in Nautical Science from the University of Cadiz and a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona.
He has followed postgraduate programs in IMD and IESE. He has lived and worked in Morocco, Hong Kong, Italy, Panama and Spain.
Livia Musso joined C2X in May 2023, and is responsible for the Legal and Compliance Function.
She has over two decades international experience, beginning her career in an American corporate law firm and continuing in-house roles of industrial conglomerates as corporate lawyer, compliance officer and other senior executive roles.
Her speciality lies in renewable energy projects, international litigation and arbitration, capital markets and IPO, financing agreements and credit lines, and multijurisdictional corporate matters.
After growing up between Italy, Germany and Spain, she graduated from the University of Florence, Italy, with a dissertation in International Law.
Chris joined C2X as Chief Commercial Officer after a long career at Shell where most recently he was the Vice President – Corporate Development for Shell’s New Energies business and a member of its global leadership team. In the role he led a global team responsible for the acquisitions and major commercial projects that supported a substantive share of New Energies investments. In this time his team closed acquisitions and investments covering the full span of the power value chain, hydrogen, mobility and advanced biofuels. Prior to joining the New Energies business Chris had a long, global commercial career in Shell primarily focussed on developing new growth businesses across LNG, including the development of LNG into shipping, Trading (LNG, crude, products and bio-fuels) and power covering all major OECD and key growth markets including India, Latin America and Africa.
More recently Chris applied his experience as an advisor to a number of funds and companies on the emerging hydrogen ecosystem, bio-fuels and green methanol.
Chris graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge with a MA and MEng in Manufacturing Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer (IMEchE).
